Our Mission
At We The Patient, our mission is to educate and empower individuals to take control of their healthcare journey. We are committed to actively engaging and encouraging patients to make confident decisions and participate in their care, with a focus on building individual relationships and trust. We envision a healthcare system where patients are seen when they need care, understand their choices and costs, and partner with physicians in decisions guided by trust, not bureaucracy.

4E Path
to Patient Power
This framework provides a clear, practical pathway for patients to understand how the healthcare system works, connect with trusted physicians, and take meaningful action toward better health.
Educate
We help patients understand how healthcare works, what their care costs, and why it matters, removing fear and confusion through knowledge.
Empower
When patients know their options and feel supported, they gain control of their healthcare and their healthcare dollars.
Engage
We connect patients, physicians, businesses, and communities to rebuild relationships that make care personal, effective, and local.
Encourage
We inspire individuals to take action, advocating for transparency, showing up, and choosing care aligned with their values.
Our Story
For generations, the physician–patient relationship was the heart of medicine, built on trust, time, and human connection. Over the years, however, it has been steadily eroded by corporatization, insurance interference, and systems that prioritize profit and metrics over people — a reality made unmistakably clear during COVID. Patients felt unheard, physicians felt constrained, and the sacred partnership at the center of care was pushed aside. In response, Dr. Greg Wheeler and Dr. Chaminie Wheeler chose a different path, founding CCC Health as a Direct Primary Care practice rooted in integrity, prevention, and true partnership. Their decision reHlects a growing physician-led movement across Pennsylvania and the nation to restore professional autonomy, strengthen independent practices, and place patients back at the center of healthcare. Because ultimately, healing medicine begins when physicians and patients stand together.

Five Pillars of Hope in Medicine

01
Access
Patients receive timely care without unnecessary referrals to urgent care or emergency departments, improving outcomes and lowering costs.
02
Care
Health concerns are addressed early, preventing chronic disease and long-term costs.
03
Time
Unrushed visits allow physicians to listen, understand, and make informed decisions—reducing unnecessary tests and referrals.
04
Transparency
Transparent pricing reduces Fraud, waste, & abuse while empowering patients to direct their healthcare dollars wisely.
05
Trust
Clinical decisions remain with the doctor–patient relationship, restoring trust and ensuring care is guided by people, not systems.

Take Action.
Restore Trust.
Reclaim Healthcare. Together.

By taking action, you help restore the physician–patient relationship, strengthen communities, and shape a healthcare system that is more humane, more effective, and centered on people not systems.
